Everything we do at Little Smiles NC is 100% volunteer driven. The special talents of our board members and volunteers allow us to fulfill our mission of helping kids be kids during difficult times. We are always looking for people to help us put SMILES on the faces of children in need.

 

Involvement Opportunities

Administrative

  • Help with toy organization at our Smiles ‘R Us storage facility.
  • Prepare gift cards/supportive notes for our community partners to give to families in need.
  • Solicit raffle items/donations for events.
  • Photography and/or social media support for our events.

Signature & Community Events

  • Be a part of the steering committee responsible for organizing one of our community events, such as the Dino Open or Christmas in July.
  • Volunteer for “day-of” support at a special event such as handing out goody bags at the NICU Family Reunion or helping with a craft at our Breakfast with Santa.
  • Volunteer at a monthly pizza party.

 

Smile Delivery Driver

  • Deliver items requested through our Community Partner Portal to our hospital and community liaisons.
  • Deliver Pizza/Party Supplies for our monthly Pizza Parties.
  • Help transport toys from our toy drive events to our storage facility

 

Tailored Volunteer Experiences

  • We are happy to work with school groups, church organizations, or individuals on events or projects that can support our mission.

Host a toy drive

  • Create goody bags for staff or patients at local hospitals.
  • Organize a game or craft night at a local facility.
